Jurodaby JudiComment: Only just seen this for the first time - stunning! I love the stylisation, and the colours are simply suptuous. |

Eggby thorb59Comment: A photo with this degree of simplicity does, I feel, need critical sharpness throughout for it to succeed. Here, although you have shown some texture in the egg, the corkscrew is quite soft. |

"Will you join me" ??by mrbig65Comment: Blue cheese and wine I would go for, but the grapes also look as though they are a bit on the mouldy side! If you repeat this exercise, pay a little moe attention to the folds of your background cloth - the way they are placed at the moment makes me think of a silk-lined coffin! Perhaps having the background cloth a little further from the subject may help? |

Old shopby Rino63Comment: The glass is a little too obvious, and I am not keen on the steel fitment that runs across the back. While the bottles are intrinsically interesting, there placement of doesn't really lend itself to a strong still life photograph. |

Aralias by dougi555Comment: This seems to be a case where the negative space and non-frame filling composition work - unusually for a still life. I particularly like the way the shelf forms a natural border. Mono conversion is very good, with a superb range of tones, whilst remaining firmly low key. |
