I like the idea of the baby's delicate 'fresh' skin against the muscular, tattooed arm. Not so keen on the lighting - I want to focus on both arm and baby equally, but my eyes are pulled to the man's brightly lit shoulder. On a purely subjective level, I really dislike the flower headband type photo prop on baby photos, but I do acknowledge that is a very personal bias.

The cluttered background really distracts, and in particular the very bright section at the top. The light is not conducive to good photography, with shadows to the right, and blown areas to the left. I suspect that either a wider view, or a tighter crop would have been more effective.

The lens baby (?) lends a very strange effect to this, and your choice of processing style takes this further. The odd focus, with parts that overlap each other being both in and out of focus plays havoc with my mind! In terms of a natural history photo, I hate it, but in artistic terms I do find there is something strangely compelling. I will return to score, becuase I honestly can't decide!

I had thought, and hoped, that this would do better. I thought it rather impressive, and it was refreshing to see a slightly different take on the challenge. I was particular drawn to the sci-fi fel you created.

Under-appreciated - I came back to this one again and again; it is one of the few photos in the challenge that required the viewer to contribute as well. I really like the photo.

No way! I was you solitary 9, I loved the photo on first sight, and on the repeated views during the challenge - and I still do. Tiny sums it up in one word - compelling.
