This is fabulous - I really did do a double take as, initially, I missed the heron in the nest. Shouldn't your collection be titled 'The Heronry"?

Stefan, you asked for some feedback on your entries, so hope here goes!

I gave this a 5. The positives - the entry met the challenge well; the composition has been carefully considered and is good, with an aesthetically pleasing symmetry. I was less convinced by the 'authenticity' of the shot - bits just didn't quite ring true, the very dirty boots, but well manicured nails, clean hands and cardboard sign. For me, though, the biggest drawback of the image was the style of processing. I note that some commenters admired the textures in your photo, but I feel your choice of processing diminished them.
