Lovely bokeh, and an excellent pose from your winged model, colours are good, and there is some textural detail, but tbh I would love to see more detail, especially in the fascinating head and eyes. There does seem to be a degree of coarseness to the image, and I wonder if that is perhaps down to post-processing style rather than the base image.

Somewhat over-exposed and lacking in the fine textural detail that is needed to really make macro shots such as this work. Watch out for your background - the sharply cut leaf with the pink thing behind spoiled the aesthetics of the photo.

58th? No way! Despite the fact that the focus was missed (maybe an intentional choice, but that aspect didn't work for me) I gave this a 7. It is just such a beautifully observed moment.

A decent photo of a black-headed gull, and harder to get than it may look,but I do wish this was in colour. Whilst your conversion has managed to keep detail in the face, which is good, there isn't a sufficient tonal range across the photo to keep my interest. There is little textural detail, and somehow this seems more noticable in mono.
