these smoke shots always look so cool - the patterns and chaotic, yet controlled, nature of the smoke is very engaging. that said, there appears to be some noise issues with this shot - minor but visible. i prefer the smoke shots that seem smoother and more continuous

the strong contrast works fine and I do get the impression that you are odd - so it meets challenge

a good concept for this challenge and generally i think it was pretty well delivered compositionally, with good control of DOF, but I think that the image suffers from being a bit underexposed and a yellow tint in the lower right

dandolions are pretty cool plants - the softness of the white seeds, the intensity of the yellows, and the speed that these guys grow and change

compositionally it is pretty solid - filled frame is a good choice

i wonder if a more direct connection to either a number or unusual-ness would work better here

an odd face indeed! i wish the branch were not in the way - it seems to distract from a really nice capture. the details in the cheetah are good, if a bit dark for my taste in the head

An interesting interpretation of the challenge and one that could really work great

from a technical perspective, the fish (the subject of the shot) seems washed out and a bit soft in focus - the focus seems to be much better on the pebbles and glass bowl than on the fish

my main issue with the shot other than the technical flaws is that i think from the title that you are suggesting that it is 'odd' for the fish to be out of water. But, the viewer can clearly see the edge of the tank/ bowl - the reflections created by the glass add bowl and the bright colors of the 'pebbles' adds some charm to the shot. therefore, it seems to lose its connection to 'oddness'. if you were going for an odd number instead, i think it would meet the challnege
