A great idea - these are such pretty little delicate flowers. The harsh downward perspective, the brown dirt using up valuable pixels, it all really brings down the score. A closer crop on only the flowers having the one dead center be the centerpiece and the out of focus flowers framing it would have made a great image IMO.

Chris - thanks for this shot. It shows the interest that James jrrose1 had at VINS. He was talking about the difference in the wings of the falcon and the owl the entire ride home.

The bokeh looks pretty good to me - nice and smooth and adds some interest to the shot...actually the background has more interest to me in this shot than does the 'subject'
