morning lightby photokariangelComment: The glow of the light - both done and processed in - provides such a warm feeling to this one.
The soft curl of your hair in this one gives this such a romantic feel - nice job! |

Lovinsby TCGuruComment: A wonderful portrait. The hand of Tim reaching around provides a great feeling of comfort to the image |

Day 2: Bad Omenby socalsteveComment: I hope that thing is for cutting onions and carrots and not for something more sinister....
The low key lighting is pretty darn cool and the centered crop gives a very awkward feel (and awkward in a very good way here!) - especially with the door on the left side. Message edited by author 2009-01-03 11:18:41. |

Day 01 - Jeeheby shalrathComment: You have captured her and her incredible eyes very well here - the light and focus really draws me to them. The image seems to come off a bit 'bright' or maybe a bit lower in contrast than what I usually like to see, but the glow of the background seems to work nicely. |

Day 02 - Jeeheby shalrathComment: The glow on her face, the warmth of the sun implied, the relaxation of the moment - this is really good work.
I like the choice of earth tones behind and around here to emphasize the colors of her outfit. It works all together very well. |

Again I Go Unnoticedby incubusComment: The intensity of the stare is what grabs me - keep these up - I am really enjoying your work and how you are exploring lighting and how it interacts with your face. |

ariel_day1.jpgby stupidcatComment: The high contrast approach really makes your daughter seem very mature. I agree with others comments about the cropping - the chin missing seems to throw off the image a bit. I do like the almost colored in look of the green eyes in this one - it seems to work for me here (and I am not usually a selective desaturation fan).
I am also not convinced by the object to the far left - it seems to be more distracting than enhancing to the photo |

gleeby photokariangelComment: The title says it all. I am very happy to see your bright shining and ever creative face in this challenge.
The choice of framing by the hallway adds a great natural border to your face - and the expression is just priceless |

Marshall and Syd.JPGby avalanche1030Comment: A great pair. The dog sure has a charmer sense of understanding when it comes to photography. You should definitely use this one more.
As others have said, the focus is a bit soft - as if the focus was somewhere else than the subjects. |
