Ode to Ireneby LonzComment: nice water drop effort - the choice of color gives it a nice cool feel |

Springby BarbBComment: lovely use of light - an outstanding example of how a picture can make us feel the warmth of a spring day |

ARTby gocComment: the crop gives this such a humorous feel - and the lighting and strong shadows really accentuate the details throughout |

Moonlight bridgeby TrollManComment: the lines and reflections are pretty cool - but i wonder about the choice of composition - the bridge is leading us into the image but it seems to head almost to the center of the image and as a result it gives it an almost unbalanced feel |

Anatolian Moodby PascalComment: a scene with a story - i have been puzzling over exactly what the story is - what is the woman doing? who is she calling out to? |

Cloudy skyby heavenlyComment: lots of interesting objects to study - the sky is beautiful with the patchwork of clouds, the mountains are majestic, and the railing is so ornate - but the choice of b/w processing here actually gives the left side of the image an almost nondescript look - little to no distinction between the mountain and railing on the left hand side of the image is visible - a higher contrast approach, some dodge/burn to separate the objects, the use of color instead of b/w - all choices i think might be worth exploring here |

Pink Flamingoby finman76Comment: i like the focus on the eye and the contrast of the bright bird to the dark green background but the composition seems odd - with a large section of the bird's body missing yet a lot of background above and on the sides - almost as if wasted space. i think a tighter crop more specifically on the face and head would solve the issue |

Portrait of a Bald Eagle by jbrightComment: majestic bird and pose - the lighting and focus are the main issue i see with the shot - the eye is in shadows and feathers and beak could use a bit more detail to really shine |
