Allen - i think this shot is magical. The light, the composition, the location, and the placement of the subject.

I think what may have hurt the score, and it is an indictment on society as much as anything, is that the woman was an older woman. Had it been a beautiful young woman, I bet your score would have been a full 0.5 point higher....

A wonderful moment, a beautiful family. Trying to figure out why it scored where it did...maybe the crop? It almost seems that a more square crop with the baby and Mom at opposite corners may have been more conventional and scored better. But personally, I like the lines on the left and the tree over Mom's head on the right. Well done.
