Yeah, the reflection of the red trees on the wet black rocks created kind of a purplish effect, but that was one of the things I liked about it!

My guess is that you oversaturated your blues a bit while you were boosting the saturation on the rest of the image. If you pull back the saturation on the Blue channel about -25, the image would not have had the purplish tint. |

The enormous beard, the deep rich dark conversion to b/w, and the glance away worked together to give us the impression that this character is hiding his true self from us. |

At the Candy Storeby h2Comment: I really like the smiley faces and the other shapes of the candies. A cheerful image. But on my monitor (uncalibrated, mind you) the image is extremely bright. When I looked at it on my laptop, it was fine, but it is screaming hot on my home PC monitor. |
