Brass Section Circa 1988by staabComment: Interesting closeup on some old brass instruments. Nice warm colors and the OOF valves on the trumpet (?) in the background are a nice touch. Back for a bump for the colors and set up. 8 |

Broken Strings, Broken Dreamsby CharleneComment: I think this would have worked better in B/W. The colors in the background and the various textures of the seams, etc. are distracting. In addition, you could bring out more of the horsehair using contrast in B/W. |

Suspended Notesby PatsfanComment: The majority of the horn is really well illuminated but the bell is too blown out for my taste. I think a slightly different angle of the horn to fill up more of the frame would help. |
