Doors of the FireHouse (1888)by LaMasComment: This is a very pretty building and I like the lighting on it a lot - good use of shadows. but I am not a fan of the choice to go selective desat. I think this would really been nice in either b/w or in color. |

Only Way Outby aubilenonComment: the title really helps this image out. The issues I see are around any clear lack of sharp focus. I think we are suppose to focus on the entry way, but it is too blown out. Using tonemapping such as in Photomatix Pro could really help this one out.
Something like this might work a little better...Tonemapped your image after adjusting the histogram to bring out the detail in the light.
