NOOOOOOO!!!!!by smardazComment: So you are secretly in love with Oprah? Funny image and great 'surprised' look. I wish the newspaper gluing job was just a little better to carry this off. |

Buried Aliveby bob_bobskiComment: Creapy, creapy, creapy! Well captured image - love the dirt on the hands and the lighting. It kind of reminds me of the final scene in the movie "Carrie" |

Abandonmentby pidgeComment: Solid perspective and use of shallow DOF, and I really like the recurring shapes in the image. But the image seems to lack any real sharpness in the memorial in front to counterbalance the softness behind. |

Nnnnnoooooooooo!!!!!!!by molly12341Comment: Funny image! It is well captured and lit, it is nice and sharp and has good leading lines. A couple of things that bug me a bit: First, why three glasses? It seems a little too cluttered - wouldn't this guy only need one? Second, the yellow bit holding up the whisky bottle is in view and really takes away from the image. Really nice effort though! |

Not a Lilly Pad to be Found. by mosallComment: i like the blues and the lighting to show the waves/ water - but the lighting the frog seems a little frat and the cropping choice (tight on the sides) really closes this one down too much for me. A square crop with more water may have worked better for this. |

My Nightmare--Having No Way Outby juliejoldComment: i really like the low angle and the lighting on this one -really good job with the exposure. The blown out section of light pouring in from behind ands just the right contrast. The title would have been more dramatic if it had simply stated - "Having No way out". |

a sense of foreboding...by emmylouComment: love the humor of this one - the 'expression', if you can call it that, on the duck is quite funny - the tight crop really sells the shot |

Beyond the Church Wallsby jonfrommkComment: Jon - what a cool 'rose window' on that old church. very cool stuff. I like the perspective with the church off set to the far left a lot , but I think your image was taken down due to the very bright sky and the softness. A slightly lower angle and a higher horizon (to get it away from dead center) could really have boosted this one a bunch.
Cheers!
Peter
Here is my quick edit on the shot you entered. I moved the horizon up by cropping down, I used noise ninja to sharpen (USM) and smooth out the sky at the same time, and I adjusted the colors a bit - to bring up the red and yellow to add more punch...

Splitting Atoms for Terrorby TJinGuyComment: beautiful colors and capture - love the placement. This entry is completely title dependent, but it really is a good image so I will give it a 7 |
