Flower Childby timfythetooComment: Tim - One of my favorites in the challenge. I think pictures of your kids should now result in an immediate DQ. They are too photogenic for this place. |

Mast Confusionby brownsmComment: Steve - Cool image. I like how the parallel lines run from the corners to the nests on top. I think a bit more contrast may have have made this jump a bit more |

Balanceby L2Comment: Laurie - Excellent shot. I am really surprised this did not do better. I thought the lighting and composition was first rate. |

Home Alone (with a twist)by Dirt_DiverComment: I already commented on this one during voting, but back for another thought since you put it in the 'sweet/sour' side challenge. Good use of centered crop and nice job with the bright colors and blank background. I think the eyes are a bit too much pulled down - but as you said, working with kids can be tough. Nice work (and nice finish) |

Hinder&US.jpgby Dirt_DiverComment: Looks like a fun group - it would be a blast to 'hang' with these guys. A bit of a snapshot kind of image, especially with the harsh bounce from the flash on the sign in the background. |

Peek-A-Booby Dirt_DiverComment: I like the perspective and the use of the bricks as a frame - especially as they are at different layers. It seems to me that the focus seems sharpest on her hair not her eye - not sure how that happened. Also, I think by cropping out the dark section of bricks on the right, we would have a more dramatic picture by placing her eye at the left third |

day 2 FIVE to enterby fotofanComment: Very good perspective shot - this one talks to me as an intimate take on someones everyday life in a still life image. I think the white balance appears off, however. If you didn't do this in RAW, try using the eyedropper tools in Levels to 'fix' it. |

day 1 I hate when that happensby fotofanComment: Funny start to the challenge - I love the sparkle from the heels and ankletts, saying "Watch out boys, here comes an attractive lady", while the TP says "I am a goober". I am not a big fan of the flash - seems a bit harsh. And as others have said, a different venue (more public - like a restaurant or hotel lobby) would have made this a winner. |

Remembranceby JutildaComment: This is stunning! I love the 'long forgotten treasure' feel of this one. What was this flower from?...a wedding, a funeral, a summer day long ago. Excellent stuff (as usual!) |
