Wow! I can't believe I got 4th place! I don't expect it to happen again any time soon; so I'm going to relish it. Even three-legged blind dogs get lucky sometimes! Too bad that I didn't straighten it out well enough. The comments about it being slightly skewed are obviously correct. I was working on it in the middle of the night and was too tired to see straight. Oh well. Thanks for all the nice comments from everyone. Oh, and this is the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman. It's an incredibly beautiful piece of architecture. To call the place a masterpiece does not do it justice. So, I just got lucky enough to get to snap a picture of an awesome place.

I really think this is a great picture of a feather. And I accept that a feather may be sacred to an Indian. But I think this would be better if there was something more to the picture to help it communicate the point that this feather is sacred. Maybe some kind of Indian fetish or artifact.
