Stage Left...by raishComment: It is interesting that the very thing that often detracts from photos by making them look flat(front lighting) is genious in this photo. If the cat's shadows were evident, it would be just a photo of a cat with a vase on a shelf. As it is, the cat looks like an integral part of the still life. Very well done. |

The dawn of manby WindtaleComment: I'm guessing this is Cadillac mountain top in Acadia. Must have been a damn cold photo shoot if so! The composition is strong. The rocks on the bottom left distract for some reason - I think it is that I'd like to either seem them more clearly or not at all. |
