Cold and frosty

Beautiful in its simplicity. Love the lines in the road and telephone poles. Just the right amount of light is peeking through as well - I imagine it would have been very easy to over or underexpose this. Well done!

Nativity Scene

This photo is of National Geographic quality. I nearly started crying when I opened it. The expressions are incredibly haunting, yet hopeful at the same time. The light is beautiful, the composition is astounding and the word "ghost" in the graffiti makes this work of art even more poignant. This may be my favorite photo of all time on this site.

The Gift of Sight

The selective desat is beautiful, as are the details in the iris. The two blown highlights are distracting, though, and it looks like there is an odd row of lashes below the real lashes partially covering the iris. Don't know if this is intentional, but it looks a bit like cloning.
