I think this may be the most interesting photo in this challenge, and that's saying something with 700-odd entries. I really like the fact that this looks natural and is not technically "perfect". 9.

I really like this because it shows this man as a person instead of just a photo opportunity - you preserve his dignity very well, I think. I also think the effect of the cracked sky is very strong.

Deb, this is an excellent capture but more importantly a very good photo. These little guys are so sharp, and the emotive is great. I think you should be proud to have this on your front page! And look at those 15 favorites. I bow down in awe :-)
