Wherein His Majesty Reclinesby raishComment: Raish, I kept coming back to this one during the challenge because you have the coolest pad in the world! That staircase just rocks! I am envious. I really like this photo aside from that as well. I like how you have to search for the little kitty on the big sofa - and what a cool sofa it is! |

Table's Freeby jaysonmcComment: I thought I commented on this one during the challenge, but evidently did not! I quite like the perspective here. Creative. Think you got hurt a bit by the OOF top area, but without it, photo might not have same interest. I think this one should have scored higher. |

Day 1.2 - Maritime Museum of the Atlanticby xianartComment: Again, looks like pretty much perfect exposure. I can see your art and photography training in these shots - you have quite an eye for composition and enviable control of your camera. On this one, I do prefer the PP version - and it is simply lovely. You are truly an artist. |

Day 1.1 - Peggy's Coveby xianartComment: Christian, this is SUPERB! You have real control of your camera - I'm not sure it needed any editing whatsoever. Talk about a well-metered shot. I'm impressed. |

Day 2 - Street at Sunsetby Bruce_the_RobertComment: I think you have a lot to work with here. The lines and colors in sky are lovely. I don't envy you the cloning on those power lines, though - looks like a lot of effort! |

Day 1 Tracksby ElaineComment: Ah, I really like the converging tracks just above that 2/3 position - makes the viewer wonder where they go, and which to choose. I would probably clone out the top of the switch box on the right and color temp looks a little cool. This is a very interesting shot though. Great job. |

minimalismchallenge2.1web1.jpgby cogeroxComment: I agree with Karen that the leading lines are fabulous. Almost an impossible shot to meter with that overcast sky - but luckily you can fix the underexposed foreground in PP! I look forward to seeing this - think it would be lovely HDR as well. You could make the cherry (apple?) blossoms really pop on those trees. |

Day 1by HipychikComment: You have a nice composition going here. Is this your new camera? Looks like it is underexposed by one or two stops - luckily a lot easier to fix in PP than the other way! I will look forward to seeing this one next week. BTW - did you notice how many TS members are in this side challenge? Cool! |

Fringeby AliciaComment: Nice starbursts! Can't imagine a much more difficult shot to meter straight from camera :-) This will be an intensely cool photo if the fringe is highlighted in PP. You have a lot to work with here. Great composition and interesting / creative shot. |

DAY 1. minimal editing project . perspective .by rozComment: Wow, the whites really pop! That polarizing filter definitely appears to be a worthy investment. The lines and composition are great here. Very well done indeed for straight from camera! |
