Contemplating Timeby HipychikComment: This one stopped me while I was voting, as I found it, in Don's words, oddly poignant. I think if you'd set up a tripod (if your friend's face were a tad sharper) this would have scored very highly. |

koloby silverfoxxComment: Excellent idea - creative but definitely recognizable as the "Silverfoxx style". I really like the pieces of hair hanging from the top circle. Gives the look of being integrated into it. |

day 7 - Editby xXxscarletxXxComment: Love the PP you chose on this! The ragged edge of the umbrella constrasts nicely with the smooth texture on the metal bar and the grainy texture on the fence post. I feel you did a very nice job of highlighting the umbrella. |

Fake Plant Day 6by emily212Comment: Looks like you used a fill flash on this - or maybe just general flash - due to the brightness on the stems. Although I like the idea of fill flash here (if that is how you achieved this look), I think it would be more effective on the seedheads. You might consider vignetting on this and a directional spotlight to bring the seedheads out - there is a lot going on in this photo - many overlapping textures - so highlighting just one area might help the viewer focus in. |

MinimalDay1EditedWeb2.jpgby cogeroxComment: Wow - OMG did this pop in your edit! The leading lines and the colors in the cherry blossoms are wonderful. I'm impressed. |

Cat Day 7by emily212Comment: I love kitties - what a cutie! The color of the eyes is amazing - if the pupil area is darkened a little and some cropping of the furniture, think this will be very cool! |

Star editedby MelethiaComment: Interesting - I did not think this was a color photo. An optical illusion of sorts. I like the mixture of textures a lot, as I did in the original, and I think the feet are an important component for adding scale and context - so I'm glad you didn't remove them. The brights look a little too bright on my monitor and trap my eyes in the star area - but it may just be my monitor. The one thing I would consider, aside from dimming the brights just a notch, would be to clone out the two shadows or cracks toward the very back that break the line of the arc. I think they detract from the continuity. BTW - I did notice you straightened this - and am glad, as it looked slightly skewed to left before. |

Day 7 Among the Rocksby ElaineComment: Looks one stop underexposed. The pink is a nice contrast with the grey, though, and the textures are interesting. Maybe too many textures, however? I think this might be great with vignetting. |
