You get kudos just for that funny title :-) Having picked up many snakes (I'm a big fan) I agree that they are suprisingly soft and silky to the touch! I think this is a great entry, though I'm sure you'll get dinged by people who don't realize how nice the skin of the snake really is.

Okay, this is really weird, but I think I know that guy in the foreground! He looks just like a friend of mine who used to be in the Navy.

You did a great job with motion capture here, and the composition is great, especially for a candid like this. I would have expected this one to crack 6. The light pole adds a cool almost post-modern presence to it.
