Don, I've been really impressed with your work lately, and this is no exception. Does it really fit into the toy challenge? No, but who cares. It's a beautiful piece of work. It captures the emotive jealousy very well, and the relative size between the two boys as captured via your perspective adds tremendously. Adding to faves.

Peter, I really like this. I was one of your higher scores. Would have been even higher with a little more negative space around the two background figures, but I also think it works very well as is. I've enjoyed your Frogner Park photos in general - what an inspiring place it is!

Weird but cool. Too bad you were limited by basic editing on this - it would be most interesting without the pattern on the rug as a distraction, and if some of the highlights were toned down. But I like the risks you take in trying these types of shots - keep 'em coming!

I read your comments and had a good giggle, because I've sometimes been prone to putting in DNMC photos even though I know what the result will be. But hey, you got a favorite, and that counts more than a good score in my book. This photo has very nice interaction between the horse and girl, and the color temp is spot on. But as you said, really doesn't meet the challenge, so of course you were voted low despite it being a very solid photo.

There are a lot of horse photos in the challenge, but this one is something special. Those whites are so perfectly exposed, and the fence provides balance and context. Very, very well done.
