Excellent rendition! The lips are nice and shiny :-) The only issue I see here is the cricket looks dead, whereas in the original it had one leg entering the mouth so it looked more authentic. Still a very, very good facsimile, reflected in a nice score.

I thought this would score higher. You did a great job with subject placement and grabbing interest with the choice of color swaths. Well done!

You really managed to get a lot of depth in this photo, and the composition is quite interesting. I'm not quite as fond of the primary colors as Ursula's softer hues, but that is a stylistic choice. This is well done and seeing inspires me to want to try it for myself!

Colleen - I'm a fan of cat shots in general (being a cat lover, I suppose) and find this one most interesting. I will say there's a big difference in feeling between this and Yanko's shot, though. This one is slightly menacing, while his is warm. I will say I like this just as well as Yanko's but in a totally different way.

I think this is an absolutely lovely shot. The color contrast between blue and yellow is pleasing and soothing. I really like that you didn't copy the original shot - you just used the idea as inspiration and created your own unique version.

Alex, you got robbed on this one. The sense of depth provided by the long shadows is exceptional. I was one of your 9's. Wonderful work!

This is REALLY gorgeous. One of the best wedding photos I've seen for awhile. The motion in this adds a whole new dimension to the usual staid wedding portraits. Wonderful job!

I love the color in this azalea. You did a great job with giving it a natural appearance despite the fact that I don't even think azaleas come in blue (?) Nice movement in the stamens as well.

What a great capture! I didn't vote in this challenge, but you would have had another high score from me. I love how the insect is almost camouflaged but not quite.
