Eternal Friendship by senor_kasperComment: Strange...I recall really liking this shot. I don't know why I didn't fav it then. Such a powerful image even a little over a year later. At least now I can look at it without crying...barely :) |

Watching the Parade with Prideby Blue MoonComment: Hi there,
Personally, I really like this shot. To be honest its not going to be winner with the DPC crowd but it really tells a story quite well. I like how the bubbles and the rainbow flag frame the couple inside the window which acts as another frame. I guess in the land of "if only" I'd say if only that object in the top left wasn't there.
It would have been nice if the bubbles had been in focus but they are simply too far from the couple for that to happen.
Really this is a great photojournalism shot in my opinion and I could honestly see it in a newspaper. |

Nature's Paletteby RayEthierComment: Hi Ray, I apparently gave this a 9 during voting way back when. Terrific shot and if it had been in a smaller challenge it probably would have ribboned and got a higher score.
Great vibrant colors and excellent composition for this beautiful scene. |

Sona Sits in the Shadeby RKTComment: I applaud you for experimenting. Naturally this is abstract given the technique you used but this just doesn't grab me though. In any event, the technique is worth exploring further I think. It just needs the right scene to make it work effectively.
That aside I was wondering if this was converted to black and white. If so I am curious what this would look like in color. |

Red Glassby jaysenComment: At first I thought this was shot from below through glass. Now I feel dumb because I realize that the top part of the glass is a reflection :( |

Yellow..in contrastby alinaComment: Terrific shot but as previous comments indicate there isn't a lot of contrast here. Still its definitely a shot you should be proud of. |
