Excellent capture. A smaller border would have helped a lot though. You sacrificed a larger shot of the subject to create a large band of white.

This shot appears to have the lady as the subject rather than the carrots. The vegetables and the lady both have a lot of interesting colors to offer. By converting this to black and white you've removed the biggest point of interest for vegetables.

A bit tilted. I like the silhouette effect here and the detail in the clouds. The subtlety of the landscape in the background is also a nice touch.

Thumbs Up Is Good

I like the idea here. Perhaps if it was just the hand it would be a bit stronger. You also don't have to tell us that thumbs up is good. I think we might already know that. Helping the viewer out with the title is one thing but you don't have to thump them over the head with it.

That aside I like the detail shown in the hand. The person is really just a distraction. When you are composing, decide what you want to be the subject and then decide what elements to add to that. (I should maybe try that out myself now that I think of it.)

I know we all don't speak French on this site but the translation in the title may be a little bit extraneous and a bit insulting to our intelligence.

You captured some interesting shadows on the bow of the boat and I really like the detail in the clouds.

The book looks like it is one big block of paper if you look close to the spine. There are no details showing that there are actual pages in the book in that area.
