Day 24 ~VoguE~ by annigComment: You are absolutely right about how the flower looks like an extended hand with a beautiful butterfly held gracefully there.
The one thing that just hit me hard (in a good way) is the color of the center of the flower and the butterfly being so close and really working together along with the same color in the background (very subtly).
Edit: me too (liking the color version better). Message edited by author 2007-07-27 18:10:00. |

Day 25~ a small view of my garden~by annigComment: Anni, the vertical lines really work well in this shot. And those bursts of vivid pink in the background works beautifully. The stunning thing (IMO) is those magnificent jutting vertical lines. |

Day 27 Black Eyed Susansby annigComment: Hmmmm Anni, sound like I should have been there to snap you snapping this lovely unique shot. LOL
Oooooh, a breakthrough I know you'll enjoy hearing about. I went to take a shot of one of my new roses and put the good foot up onto the rock wall and stood with all the weight on the right leg. Didn't realize I was doing it until I went to stand up straight. The physical therapist liked hearing that ... he said now you're on your way (since I stopped thinking about the injury).
Back to your shot ... I love the painterly and utterly artistic feel of this shot. |

Day 26 ~ Clematis~by annigComment: Anni honey, this composition looks almost like a beautiful big purple butterfly...a Barney Butterfly! The details in the stamens are fantastic.
Splendor in the garden. |

Day Twenty-fiveby Bear_MusicComment: In thumbnail form this is stunning.
Then I opened it up and the composition is great, the detail is beautiful. But the one thing that really slaps me in the face as magnificent is the few petals on the bottom right flower that have the pearlescence pollen just glimmering away. WOW |

Day Twenty-threeby Bear_MusicComment: I really like the tones, the texture, the composition, and the lovely weed. The only thing that bothers me is the spider web, I'd probably have cloned it out.
The lighting really makes this a standout. |

Tiger Swallowtailby MaryOComment: The image is stunning. However, I think your composition is absolutely PERFECT and makes this a stop and stare shot. |

Grainy Gloryby MaryOComment: I think the colors and the vibrancy work beautifully here. I am the Queen of filters in PP, and I hate to agree and go against grain, but I think it detracts a bit as is. I like the feel, just backing it off just a bit, keep in mind that's only my opinion.
The stem coming in on the diagonal and the stunning colors really make this a fantastic addition to your images. |

Day: 17by skasubaComment: The icing on the cake with this shot is how the BG colors are bigger and brighter and more vivid in the straw flower. Fantastic. |
