Ivory cat T2.jpgby bryantbusComment: I think this in an improvement over the one you entered in LOW, even though those whiskers are in front of the eye and the cat is looking off to the left. The fur looks less matted, the highlights are perfect, and the whole ear is included. Really beautiful shot. |

Winterby bryantbusComment: I agree with you, I like the Fall leaves with the ice. Too bad the camera didn't pick up any sparkling bokeh in that white background. It would have been a knockout. Maybe sun is what was called for here, for the benefit of both the leaves and the background. But you can't control that. Nice job working with what you had. |

The Lower Vaultsby quiet_observationComment: I like this a lot and gave it a 9. I think the reason I didn't go all the way is the narrow crop. The framing, colors, contrast, light, and path leading into the woods, all make for a really fine photograph. |

Fall Reflectionsby KelliComment: I guess that new popup message asking for comments on scores below 4 isn't working. Six people owe you comments as to why they thought your entry sucked. I don't agree with those ratings. I like this and agree with Kivet that the sky is probably what hurt this. But skies can be fixed with advanced editing. Unfortunately, one thing that can't be fixed in post processing is the straight line of the shore that cuts the photo in half. Still I like the shot, especially the little picnic table. |

colorado riverby griz210Comment: I was noticing the lack of comments, then I noticed you didn't even comment yourself.:) The lone commenter said the color and contrast were the problem. I think it is the light. The foreground has no interesting light on it. With advanced editing, you might be able to do something about that. You have a beautiful scene and composition to work with. Ode to Joyby MelethiaComment: I didn't leave a comment, just a very high score. Didn't really know what to say except that it is spectacular. |

Airborneby xianartComment: You've done it again -- captured a great shot of that wonderful little model. The shot of him sitting on the path is still fresh in my mind, and I love the shot you call 'swagger'.
The setting in this shot is perfect: the window with the broken screen, the ramp, and the shingles. So uplifting to see the joy of simple physical play in this age of electronic toys. |

Into the Woodsby ElaineComment: While I think this is a very nice composition, for some reason I'm not drawn into the shot. It may be that it is a little flat. Perhaps a touch of Image>Adjustment>Exposure (offset and gamma) would improve that. |
