Winter Warmthby puzzledComment: Very nice -- textures, shades, composition, light. The blur on the left foreground bothers me a little. |

Sarahby jasonlpriceComment: First brown study I seen yet in this challenge. Eyes, hair, quilt, and not accomplished with sepia. Good going, and btw, cute girl and nice composition. |

Little Things for Empty Spacesby raishComment: I only gave this a 5 because the focus bothers me. Not only the OOF people, but the items on the table are hard to make out. What I do like about it is the little boy looking longingly at something on the table. |

Get your Christmas Cheer Hereby bmartuchComment: I'm afraid I helped to spoil your score. I gave this a 5. The reason was that it seemed cluttered. I think I would have liked it better if it was not just a photo of a sign and decorations, but somewhere I could actually go for the product (Christmas cheer). In other words, I'd like to see what could be done by including the door in the shot. |

So Much Labor, This Palmetto Rose: For You, $3.00by noranekoComment: I don't have much to add to the comments below. I like this a lot, especially his concentration and the lighting. I agree that the red in his face (especially his ear) is over saturated. I gave this an 8 during voting. It's a good photo for your portfolio, where the rules don't apply, because the black background is very effective. |

Odd One Out at the Farmer's Market by commendatoriComment: Very clever to have changed the odd pepper to green. I would never have thought of that. That's the difference between a good photographer and an artist and ribbon winner. BTW, I do not agree with those comments that said the color and exposure aren't right. They look perfect on my monitor. Congratulations on your well deserved blue! |
