Although all of them are nice images, I don't think any would have scored well in the minimalism challenge, because there is too much in the background. The ones that scored well had very little if any background.

Challenge aside, I really like this photo - the line of the path, the interaction between the dogs, the colors and textures.

This is the best of the challenge IMO. I give it the gold ribbon. The textures, colors, curves, spirals and dots all put together in a masterfully artistic creation. This is why Expert Editing rules should stay.

Has anyone ever accomplished this before: 198 our of 197?! Here we go again with the "true genius" thing.

Just wanted to add that this is very breathy - looks like a mirror or window steamed up with breath. Oh, but that would be from breath's exit. Maybe you put this in the wrong challenge.
