The Things we do..by UrfaKComment: DNMC. "capture an interesting photo of a person using their cellular phone." It's a beautiful image though. |

Sendby neophyteComment: Very cool shot, but this is not a shot of a person using a cell phone. |

Sunshineby HipychikComment: Pretty girl. Nice crop and pose, and I think the focus is fine. The light is what I think hurts this shot. It's a nice bright day but her face seems to be shaded. Have you ever played around with filter>render>lighting effects? A little touch of Omni light might be nice on this. BTW I like the little stray hair too. It makes it look more natural and adds a little highlight. |

This IS my good sideby MelethiaComment: Melethia,I voted 4 on this, not because of DNMC but because the shallow DOF bothers me. I wanted to see the whole iguana clearly. I love the color, texture, and patterns of their skin, and I don't think it does justice to the subject to obscure most of him. That being said, I like the pose you captured, and the light, color, and focus on his face is very nice. I got a laugh from the title too. |

Kay and Azaleasby noranekoComment: She's beautiful, Catherine, and you captured that beauty. I think it would have scored better if she was looking into the camera, and if there was a little more contrast. I like the softness in this shot, but when compared with the other entries in the challenge it appears a little washed out. From the standpoint of a family keepsake, I think this will be treasured. From a photography contest point of view, it lacks impact. My impression is "that is her", it doesn't show me any specific aspect of her or a mood or an emotion. I gave it a 6. |

Natures Circlesby JeffDayComment: I didn't leave a comment during voting because I was in a bit of a hurry. However, I gave this a 10. I love the light, color, and composition. It is so cheerful I'd like to have this on a breakfast tray each morning. It's going in my favorites. |
