This is a very nice effect. The white light design against the black background adds a lot to the image. I've never tried light painting, and don't even know how it's done.

Beautiful composition, and I like the blue tone. I like the lone window on the second cabin as the focal point.

As for the border, it is the way I would like to see it framed for hanging. It gives me the feeling I am looking out a window.

I like this a lot, and I don't see any problem with people taking pictures of the same landmarks. After all, look at all the shots we have seen of the Sidney Opera House, and all the shots we have seen of the Washington, DC monuments.

I like the detail of the wheel you captured, and the blue light on the walkway. I also like the people you have in this shot. Very nice, and I think the person who gave you a three just because someone else took a similar shot, is misusing the rating system.
