Good Morningby vtruanComment: Exquisite landscape. Beautiful clarity of focus and mist feel at the same time. The light and colors are excellent. Good example of why the rule of thirds "rules". 10 |

The Eyeby prkembyComment: This would work better if the eye was on one of the intersecting power points. |

Sun Worshipby chaliceComment: Great simple composition, and dead on for the rule of thirds. Lovely image. |

Warped Negativeby poindexterComment: Interesting shot and processing -- very artistic, but not using the rule of thirds effectively, IMO. The guitarist appears to be in the left third, and the amp in the lower left ninth, but nothing of significance is at the intersecting power points. |

Brick n Rollby rioloboComment: Very nice abstract design, love the textures, light, and colors. And an excellent example of the rule. Putting it in my favorites. |

Colors of Loveby sz1_Comment: Very effective and excellent example of the rule. Looks like some sort of flag. |

You scratch my back and I'll scratch yoursby sfmorrisComment: Wonderful image, although I do not think it is a good example of Rule of Thirds. The eyes and backs look like they are on horizontal third lines, but there is nothing of importance on the intersecting "power points". If the crop was wider, the eyes or teeth would be on the power points. Too bad about the timing, this probably would win in the Symmetry challenge. |

Fishing Breakby shelleysoc543Comment: I do not think this meets the challenge. The subject is dead center rather than on one of the intersecting "power points". |
