Now that I believe! She's adorable and oh so innocent. The ornament is a nice touch.

It took me a while, but I think I understand -- these are mushroom clouds.

I'm really surprised this didn't score higher. I think the b&w is very effective. The triptych has a point to make, and does it well. I haven't read the other comments, but maybe the focus/noise/quality of the shots hurt. Also, I'm wondering if there might have been a way to arrange the shots so that the leg wasn't cut off in the center image.

edit for typos.

The portrait is a knock-out! I hope your neighbor appreciates it. The triptych tells a lot about your neighbor, and I really like the background (canvas) you used from the bottom shot.

I only gave this a 5 because I didn't understand the point of the large aqua borders. I think the choice of color for the borders hurt more than the size, but still the design didn't seem to have any purpose -- it obscures rather than enhances. Perhaps if the borders had been the color of fence rails, it might have created an interesting effect.

Placing the shot with the sky in the upper right makes the background image look like a large natural crevasse. Very interesting effect. And the three smaller images look like blocks that were placed to repair the fissure. I like the detail of the small stones in the center image. The only thing I'm not thrilled with is the green grass in the lower left.

Good idea, good photos, and good processing. It looks like you had a good score going. Too bad about the DQ!

The girls are adorable, the idea and the stop-action are good. It seems a little overexposed (blown out highlights) and the background is distracting.
