Decorby colorcarnivalComment: Beautiful color. You captured the iridescence nicely. I wish the lower background was a bit darker. I find it a bit distracting as it is. |

Drink Meby cal_russellComment: Interesting reverse use of color to offset the subject. I think the background is a little busy behind the base of the goblet, and my eye has a bit of trouble separating the two. Still kudos for original thinking and a nicely executed idea. |

Still has ants on em'...by jsc9306Comment: Lovely blossoms and lovely color. I think the focus is a little too soft. Also, the challenge details said: "Use a colorful impact to offset your subject from the rest of the photograph." In my opinion, this does not meet the challenge, because the color subject is the entire photo. However, I'm not going to vote down for that since it is just my interpretation of the challenge. |

Little Branches Everywhereby noranekoComment: Boy, this is a beautiful image. Looks jewel-encrusted. Lovely lines. Congratulations on making the top ten. You are really sky-rocketing in the score department. Must be all that DPL competition. And while I'm on that subject, your team had an amazing finish in the first DPL season. Imagine coming in second to the Ribbon Hogs. |

"Crying, Waiting, Hoping"by MelethiaComment: Deb, I don't think I ever left you a comment on this marvelous shot. I wasn't a member of DPC during this challenge, but I should have noticed it on your profile page. This was so perfect for song lyrics -- they look like they are singing their hearts out. I get a huge smile when I look at these little rascals. Such an appropriate title too. |

The Shared Umbrella by MelethiaComment: Congratulations Deb. Yay, another ribbon for you!!! This is a wonderful image. I love the way the shape of the umbrella is repeated by the roofs. I think you made a good choice on the b&w. The background in the color shot is a bit distracting to me, while in the b&w version the balloons just add a little interest and ambiance. I'm so happy for you that this was well appreciated. |

The backside of DPC!by bmartuchComment: I didn't understand the title and it seemed as much like a front entrance as a back one. Still, as an image, I like the high contrast and composition, |

Boxed in Grayby jaysonmcComment: I like this shot a lot. I like the simplicity, and the lighting is lovely. The skylight is an interesting element, but I think the image would be more effective without the skylight showing. |
