As far as scoring goes, I think some people might have thought it was more the end of the end rather than the beginning of the end. If only one balloon had deflated that would look more like the beginning of the end. It looks a little over-sharpened, with the halos along the poles, yet the ribbons are a little too soft to give it a lot of impact. Also, I don't think that style border helped. I find it a bit distracting. Little things like that will put the shot into the 5 range which is exactly where this one landed.
