Help deskby MelethiaComment: What I see here is not an arrow pointing at the sewage truck, but an arrow pointing to heaven. |

Bakenekoby posthumousComment: I like the lighting. Some of the fur, especially along the back of the neck seems over sharpened. And I wish I could see the cats face. But, of course, then it would just be another pet cat photo. |

Sword Swingerby kashiComment: Yep, you stopped the motion too well. Perhaps if there was a shot with the sword above his head, the motion would have been a little more apparent. |

Cedar Waxwings leavingby Melinda1950Comment: I love the misty atmosphere of this shot, and the bright red against the gray. It is quite dreamlike. It's a nice capture of the cedar waxwing as well. |

van Goght by pointandshootComment: I really like this shot. I gave it a 7 because of the beauty of it, but wasn't sure what action had been stopped.
P.S. My husband said it's as if the little brush tail painted the picture. Perhaps that was your intention, which I missed. Brilliant. Message edited by author 2007-11-26 09:19:21. |

Star Ternby raishComment: The little wake in the back, like a motor boat, makes me laugh. The splash in front is beautifully smooth against the choppy water. The posture of the bird is lovely. I really like this shot and can't imagine why it placed so far down in the pack. |

Almost Had Itby colorcarnivalComment: I love the composition of this shot. It's almost as if you designed the shot and painted it. Great capture under very difficult conditions. The first thing that caught my eye here is the incredible color -- the blue and gold almost jump off the screen. I am amazed at the score, and I can only guess that people knocked it down because of the motion blur. |

What an interesting observation. I really felt there was something magical about this image, but I couldn't put my finger on exactly what was creating that effect. Since the water drops were stopped as they were rising, it really does give the feel of weightlessness. Thanks for this very astute comment. |
