White Balance by yakatmeComment: Robert, I'll just say congratulations on a beautiful image, because with one this fine, the ribbon was a certainty. I'm glad to see it's yours. |

Collected No Moreby KelliComment: I can't believe that people couldn't take enough time to recognize this as a shell. Perhaps they don't live near a seashore. Anyway, I would like this better if it wasn't so yellow. Message edited by author 2008-01-30 10:28:23. |

Get In The Swing Of Itby SteveJComment: Nice choice for framing. I like the shot, and think you did a good job with the natural light. I just wish the pacifier wasn't there obscuring the child's face. |

In Ice, Light, and Shadowby colorcarnivalComment: I think the main reason people didn't see this as having a frame is because the large shadow across the center makes the image look more striped than framed. Still, I like the image, and think it meets the challenge. |

The Pier, Full frame or Multi.by BrianRComment: Lovely b&w and very nice framing with the trees. The fence does cut the image in half, and I find myself wishing the fence wasn't there. My eye travels out to the horizon and the fence seem to cut off my view. From the "perfect world" stand point, this would be great with the rock shoreline and no fence. |

Trees of Snowfallby jaysonmcComment: To me, this feels more pinched than framed. It's an interesting shot though with a very strong mood. |

The Persistence of Memoryby Bear_MusicComment: I think this might have fit the challenge better if the rest of the items in the shot were childhood related: children's books, toys, etc. But I understand the point here with the background being the 'now' and the bear being the 'then'. As I said before, I really do like this. |

Your Call Cannot Be Completedby HipychikComment: I'm always surprised that the pictures I like so much are yours. I know you take pictures I like, but I just never recognize them as being yours. You have such a variety of styles -- all of them good, IMHO :D This was one of my favorites of the challenge. |
