I had to think about the tilted horizon for a while. Usually I am a stickler for horizontal horizons, especially for seascapes. BUT I have decided that this is the exception for the rule. It gives the feel of being on the boat and I like it.

How very interesting to have a collection of old razor blades. I remember when medicine cabinets had a slot in the back to dump the old blades into the wall cavity (or wherever they went). I like the random scattering of the blades, and the light showing the metallic texture so well. Really nice clear macro.

Nice effect. I like the sharpness of the boards in the center. There isn't much detail in the distance, but I've decided I don't mind that. The lines lead me there, but my eye returns to the center where there is nice detail and depth to the image. Thanks for sharing that nice sepia Photoshop action.

I was wondering about the sharpness of this -- something seemed a bit off about the image. It was sharp, yet the details were somewhat lacking. After reading your notes, I see why. I love photographing iguanas, there is so much detail in their skin, yet it is sometimes hard to capture the details, because of the reflective nature of the skin. Often my shots have blown highlights. Nice pose, nice composition, and I like the light and DOF.
