'Pretty in Pink'by sherpetComment: Pretty, indeed, Shez!! I love the care with which you arranged the tulips, with the buds leading up to the more mature blooms. |

Lost in a Momentby colorcarnivalComment: Wonderful portrait. I love the lighting, contrast, and color. And you captured a great natural expression. He looks worried about something, almost as though he is about to leave someone important behind. |

Afterburnersby snafflesComment: I like this quite a bit more than the average voter. I like the subjects, the color, the clarity, the texture of the table and the DOF. So what's not to like??? I also like the way is looks like the cars are parked on a wharf as though waiting for a ferry -- just lacking people. ;) |

Putting Out the Lobster Potsby SaraRComment: Definitely a double take, but I wish the boat in the background was more in focus (longer DOF) so both boats would be considered subjects. I like the detail of the lobster pots/nets in the boat. And I like the lobster man's yellow overalls. |

Seating for twoby quiet_observationComment: Very nice subject and b&w conversion. I only wish the chair in the back was facing just slightly more in this direction (rotated slightly CC.) The balance of the composition feels a wee bit off. |

Contemporary Mona Lisaby AliciaComment: I find the 'thumb print' swirl on the lower half distracting. Other than that I really like the effect you achieved with all that processing. |
