Blondieby LadyKComment: I love the color of the wood. I think it would benefit from having the right side cropped a bit, removing the distracting light at the side of the building, and bringing the subject more off-center. Her outfit overpowers the blond hair, and I\'m suspecting that may have effected the score. I like the mystery of this shot: Why is she dressed like that in that location? Why is she leaning like that against the wall? What is on her mind? |

Yellow Magic Orchestraby posthumousComment: Love the colors here, and the textures. The sign does appear to be levitated. Perhaps that is the 'magic'. I think it was lost on most voters though. The image is great, I think the voters just didn't connect it well with the challenge. |

The Headstonesby snafflesComment: Black and white suits this image very well. I like the composition and contrast. It's quite sad to think of a family losing three young sons. Can't do it in basic editing, but now that the challenge is over, I'd recommend reducing the sharpening effect around the tree tops. |

"Jane's Addiction," and Where it's Led Herby Blue MoonComment: That's such an interesting story. I think the photo is excellent, and certainly does show the result of addiction. A trash can is a very symbolic place for an addict. This really makes a statement.
I can't really tell where she is from looking at the image, though. During voting, I thought she was coming out of a manhole. I don't understand what is covering the top of her head either. That doesn't diminish the impact of the image, but I think it did effect your score.

H O M E : Flinders Street Tunnel 9:50:55 am by hotpastaComment: Very interesting and beautiful photo. It shows how something or someone (e.g. a homeless person) can be invisible to masses of people passing by, yet so distinctly visible to the artist and camera. Congratulation on the ribbon. |

Vertigo...by NikonJebComment: Great detail and light. And the angle and perspective give it a lot of excitement. |
