I think the tones in this are excellent, very reminiscent of your own style (i've seen you process shots like this before, you'll have to tell me how!). the one thing i see that might be hurting the score is the person in the image. the scene itself is powerful, poignant, stormy and emotional; the person's pose is fun and playful, and some people might not like that contrast. I can't fault this image technically; i think it deserves at least a 6 for sure.

edit to add: just came back to say how great your style is, it's definitely a dpc friendly style. don't shy away from it.
