Ah - Fairview Estate. Where are the goats? I was just there yesterday - then went on to Zevernwacht Estate! The grain works nicely in this.

love the selective desat. That and the grain work beautifully for this image.

Reminds me of the Ted Hughes poem "The Horses" - could be the illustration for it. Striking image.

Wistful. I think your title is a little bit of a let - down...stating the obvious. But this has a lot of poetry in it and shows the movement of the grasses in the wind which is lovely. Simple, delicate and beautiful.

Brilliant style: Very "Kennedy's" - so well suited to the classic grain.

Tee hee this is what Morgan Freeman's brother looks like... but I expect you've had that comment already. This is so striking. I love the very candid face on pose with the surroundings clearly in view. Photojournalist shot that would do well in "Drum magazine".

Very striking subject and vantage point. I love the motion blur of the various people below, and the fact that some are still and in focus. Lovely work.

This is so vintage: the relationship between grain and subject is perfectly balanced. Love the unusual close-up.

Perfect use of grain to enhance the awful weather, the remoteness of the scene.
