This is such a simple idea, and yet very effective. I am still deciding on whether or not I like the table surface in the shot. I may (an undecided "may") have swivelled the book to put it on a diagonal and then cropped in tighter so the the very edges of the book only popped into view in a few places. But as I say I'm still thinking about it.

Love it. Giving it a 9 only because I've seen similar shots in the previous Centred and Patterns challenges...Excellent placement of the eye right in the middle, with the body radiating outwards from there.
