Andyby MichaelCComment: Crisp, nice control on the Contrast, not to heavy handed. I like the grey areas and the use of natural light. |

Curls Galoreby NowaytotellComment: heavy lipstick on such fresh beauty is disturbing. I think I would have had this upside down ie. head pointing to the bottom. The sideways composition is neither here nor there. Maybe also a tighter crop off the chest area...dunno just my opinion. |

capturedby potogComment: This is generally rather "dull" in terms of light...if there were more contrast it may have more interest. It's a sweet composition with a vibrant little chappie in it, but skin tone, and general palette is grey. |

Arwenby TiNComment: Looking a tad too much on the Goth side to be a real Arwen...Interesting light, not too bright ...perhaps natural light from a window. Nice. |

My Little Princeby tiggermoComment: Lovely, natural. Great soft lighting (not high contrast)and good clarity - a REAL person and not a studio model...Love it. |

Jasby rsimmonsComment: I understand that many like the extreme close up composition, so this is entirely subjective. But I can see nothing of the character of the person you've tried to capture. |

Looking Downby jlapinComment: Love the spontaneous action and little people busy-ness. Natural and real. Great clarity and contrasts. :-) Good luck with this entry. |

"Must I?"by ltlmschrisssComment: It's hard to discern anything of the character of this subject: it's so close up I cannot "read" anything from him. Half of his face is in complete darkness and the half that is lit, is so close up I can't see hair, or if his chin goes straight down into his neck or not...he's just half a frame of darkened skin at the moment. I understand that many like the extreme close up composition, so this is entirely subjective. |

untitledby fantomasComment: Just a preference on my part: the super close-up I find claustrophobic. It doesn't tell anything about the person, you can't read anything about the moment, and the frame is filled with a lot of facial skin... I understand loads of people like this extreme close-up, but there it is. Nice lighting though. |
