when I first saw this, I couldn't see the title until I scrolled down, and though "how is this double take". then I read the title and thought "how rude". I'm not a prude by any means, but this one rubbed me wrong. maybe on another day I would have found it humorous, but not today. sorry.

I like the starkness of this one, with all the shadows and various areas of black. I also like the metaphorical use of similar (coffee and alarm clock) instead of physical similarity.

I like the B&W treatment here. Nice side-lighting and position of the bottles. A little more light on that right hand flower would have made this much better.

pretty boring subject. tough to make this one look good. The lighting is also a little unidirectional, judging by the shadows. try using another light, or at least a reflector (can even be a piece of white cardboard or paper) to help even out the light. To improve this (forgetting about the subject), add in some more contrast and overall lighting through curves and levels adjustments.

nice macro. got them in focus, too! the flowers are a little distracting though. takes my eyes away from the bugs, which kind of blend in already.

I like the grain in this one. maybe a touch too bright near the heads, but it looks like it was a very tough lighting situation anyway. pretty good handling that.
