With very little definition in the bkg, you can't see much bokeh effect. Also, dog isn't terribly sharp. Better luck next time!

Seems a bit underexposed, not a ton of blur in the bkg. Next time, if you can separate the subject from the background with a little more distance, you'll get more blur even if your camera doesn't have a huge aperture. i.e. Pick the flower and move it. Good luck!
