One note - be careful using a progressive JPEG - it loads in first choppy, then later refines. Wouldn't want a punchy voter thinking the choppy version was it.

Hey, thanks for the comments, folks - just noticed them.

Yes, these are water balloons dropped onto a tile floor using flashes to freeze the motion. They're really pretty tough if you don't overfill them - I only had one break on accident. The "vomiting pacman" was on purpose - if you look closely you can see the pin on the floor. The only thing I varied over the other shots was exactly when the flash trigger went off during the impact.
