Nice detail and adorable expression. I think I'd like to see some sort of definition in the bokeh; it's rather flat-looking to me. A good color to set off the Titmouse, though.

Looks like my Wood Hyacinths. Very pretty bokeh here. I'm generally not a fan of centered compositions but the tree in the background kind of pulls that together. I might crop a bit more off the top (about 1/4 of it) to heighten the impact of the focussed flower.

This may sound weird, but I think I'd like the bokeh better without the flower. Probably wouldn't score well but it makes a soothing abstract, like watching bubbles in a tank.

Or maybe take the color out of the flower? You've got nice DOF and detail but it all just feels a little busy to me. The bokeh isn't enhancing the subject to my eye.

It's a thistle! Quite popular with the pollinating set. I like the soft colors and the repetition of shapes in the bokeh.
