I love horses (all animals, pretty much), and I like the light and tones here. Except for the light eyelashes above the pitch black eyes. I find myself wanting to see those eyes, to be able to connect. It's almost frustrating not to see life in those eyes.

Unique scene (to me, anyway). Fascinating, even with the figures relatively dark. I'm glad that you chose to show me the bigger picture, with the crashing surf and brooding clouds and empty poles.

The pose and high key treatment are interesting, but her eyes strike me really strangely. The pupils are huge and perfectly circular, and there are no catchlights. They just don't look real, and that's kind of creeping me out. Maybe what you intended but then your title doesn't make sense to me.
