A studio Hummer! Well,it sorts floods like that.presumably he was in just the right spot of light. Beautiful colors on him.

Always thrilling to get a good shot of a Hummer! I saw several feeding from this flower when I visited CA in May this year. No great pictures, unfortunately, so I envy you this one.

I like the composition and the color palette and the owl is magnificent. Minor nit on the processing: I'd have dodged those subtle catchlights. At first glance his eyes seem lifeless, and I think that extra emphasis on the eye detail would really bring out the intensity of his stare.
